What devices and software do I need for the classes?
You only need a computer, tablet or a mobile phone with a stable internet connection. We use a simple and interactive platform (such as Zoom, Google Meet or Telegram) for our sessions, and we will guide you through the setup process if needed.
I'm a complete beginner. Can I still enroll?
Absolutely! Our courses are designed for students of all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced learners. We will assess your level during the very first class and create a learning plan that starts with the fundamentals.
Do I need to know Arabic to learn Tajweed and Quran?
No, you do not need to know Arabic to begin your Quran journey. Our teachers are skilled in teaching non-Arabic speakers and will guide you through the correct pronunciation and rules of Tajweed.

Sheriff [Abu haywat], the visionary founder of HAYWAT ACADEMY, an institution dedicated to spreading authentic Islamic knowledge and nurturing the next generation of learners. His journey in the path of knowledge began at a very young age, when he memorized the entire Qur’an at Madrasatu Ibn Affan in Nigeria.
He gained renown from a very young age for his unique voice and masterful imitation of different quran reciters like A'sheikh Abdul Basit Abdus'Samad, A'Sheikh muhammad ay'yub and others, achieving success in many Quranic competitions. Despite being a non-native speaker, his remarkable fluency and rapid command of Arabic led to his recruitment in Qatar by Ajwan Hospitality, a major international company, for a customer service role where his eloquence was highly valued.
He further deepened his expertise by studying Arabic language and Islamic sciences at Darusunnah Arabic and Islamic Institute, where he built a strong foundation in Qur’anic studies, Hadith, Fiqh, and other essential disciplines.
With years of dedication to teaching, he have successfully produced numerous sound and well-grounded students both through in-person classes and via online platforms. His work continues to inspire, educate, and guide students toward a deeper understanding of the Qur’an and Sunnah, making a lasting impact on communities worldwide.
